India’s mobile home industry has seen a major boost in recent years, with the launch of companies such as MobileHomeSafari, which offers affordable, high-quality mobile home solutions.
The startup has sold over 500 mobile homes to date, which have been manufactured by the company and marketed through its website.
The company has also been acquired by a company in China.
The startup has already secured the help of several Indian companies for the project.
MobileHome Safari, a joint venture between the local company, Lantau Mobile Home Co., Ltd and the online shopping platform Alibaba, is looking to sell its products in India through an app called MobileHomeSAFARI, which has the ability to purchase and sell mobile homes at competitive prices.
The mobile home was manufactured by Lantai Mobile Home Company, which is based in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
The company is looking for buyers of its mobile homes, which are manufactured in two main phases: one for individuals, one for families, according to its website, which also details how the product is designed.
The product can be sold through Lantayas online shop, which will also allow the buyer to get a discount.
MobileHomeSAFFARI is owned by the Mumbai-based Lantaus Group, which was founded in 2002 and now operates as a private company, according a report by TechCrunch.
The group has around 10 employees and operates in India, the US, China, Russia, and Hong Kong.
The founders of the startup are also former government officials, according TechCrunch, and the company has raised around Rs. 100 crore ($1.8 million) from the two companies, with a further round to be announced soon.
