Cleveland Browns defensive end Terrence Brooks and safety Kenny Vaccaro were released by the Cleveland Browns on Monday.

The Browns were expected to be able to acquire a compensatory pick in the draft.

Brooks, who was signed by the Browns in 2015, had played in seven games this season and played in 11 total tackles.

Brooks and Vaccaro signed with the San Francisco 49ers in the offseason, and they are both eligible for the team’s franchise tag.

The 49ers will be able use a compensating pick in this year’s draft.

They had been planning on using a compensable pick on a player such as linebacker Nick Moody or cornerback Eli Apple, and have already moved up to select a defensive end in the first round of the draft, which is scheduled for April 25.

The Raiders were also interested in acquiring a compensative pick, but they didn’t get a pick from the Browns.

The Cleveland Browns traded the rights to DT Terrence Collins and CB Kenny Vaccado to the Rams for a compensator pick.

The Rams selected CB Justin Gilbert in the fifth round of this years draft, and the 49ers were planning on selecting a cornerback in the fourth round.

They will be getting the compensator in this years draft, when the 49, Raiders and Patriots are set to meet in the second round.
